McNeese State completed the second stage of its 2008 Cowboy/Cowgirl roundup tour with a stop in Lafayette at the Petroleum Club on Wednesday.

More than 100 fans were on hand to hear all of the university's head coaches give brief talks about their respective sports.

The tour continues Thursday in Jennings and then next week will have stops in Basile on Monday at the high school, in Lake Charles at the Civic Center on Wednesday and in Houston at Minute Maid Park on Thursday.

Each event runs from 5-8 p.m. and is free to the public. Refreshments are served and posters and schedule cards are available.

The tour is being held to increase interest in and support of McNeese athletics throughout Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

This is the second year of the tour.
