McNeese State University will honor its 2007 volleyball team Friday night in its annual awards banquet at 6 p.m. in the Cowboy Room. A total of 13 student-athletes will receive letter awards and a team MVP and the Donna Bertrand "All That I Can Be" awards will be presented. Seniors Amber Click, Jessica Strama and Lindsey Petzold are among the letterwinners.

The Cowgirls concluded its season with a second place finish in the East Division with a 19-13 overall record and 11-5 in Southland Conference play and advanced to the SLC tournament for the 25th time in the tournament's 26 year history. The appearance was also the fourth consecutive under fourth year head coach Dale Starr.
