Cowgirls Drop SLC Match At Central Arkansas
Sept. 29, 2007 CONWAY, Arkansas- McNeese State's volleyball dropped its Southland Conference match to Central Arkansas here Saturday in four games 25-30, 33-31, 25-30, 19-30. The Cowgirls complete the weekend with a 1-1 record with its victory over Northwestern State on Thursday. McNeese falls to 8-9 on the year and 2-2 in league play. Three Cowgirls recorded double figure kills with Alyson Jones leading the way with 16. Chanel Tyler was credited with 13 and Lindsay Brookes added 12. Jessica Strama led the Cowgirls with 22 digs and Sarah Cartie dished out 43 assist while Lindsey Petzold put down five block assists. Central Arkansas improved to 14-5 overall and picked up its first league victory to improve to 1-3. McNeese returns to action when they will travel to Lamar on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest. |
