Former Cowgirl standout Magali Risoleo is in her first season as interim head coach after spending the last two seasons as assistant coach. Risoleo was a four year letterwinner for the Cowgirls from 2002-2005. During her career, she compiled a 54-26 singles career record with a .675 winning percent. The native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Risoleo won 10 or more matches each season with the Cowgirls. In 2003, she posted the best singles record (18-3). Her .857 winning percent that season ranks seventh on McNeese's best all-time winning percent. In 2002, she posted the best doubles record of the season with a record of 13-4. In her final season with the Cowgirls, Risoleo teamed with Urska Dobersek to make up the Southland Conference's first team All-SLC No. 3 doubles team that posted a 11-5 overall record and 8-1 conference record. |
