High School: standout at Carencro High where he earned all-state (defensive MVP), all-district (defensive MVP), all-parish (defensive MVP), all-Acadiana (defensive MVP), all-regional honors two years in a row...in senior season had 161 total tackles (113 solos) that included 29 TFL and 13 sacks...also five forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries and three pass interceptions...in career he had 395 tackles (292 solos), 31 sacks, 85 tackles for a loss, five interceptions, 18 fumble recoveries, eight forced fumbles ...set 12 school records on defense including four sacks in a game (vs Barbe), 17 tackles for a loss (vs Barbe) and 27 total tackles in a single game (vs Barbe)....
