A shift to defensive end during the spring could bring big dividends to the Cowboys this season....Harris had played tackle his first two years....in the spring game he was one of the defensive standouts with three tackles, two passes broken up, a tackle for a loss and a pass interception which he returned 79 yards for a touchdown ..he is one of the stronger players on the team and was named McNeese's male lifter of the year for 2004-05...

2004: credited with 22 tackles including one for a loss...had eight QB hurries and a forced fumble....four tackles each against Nicholls State, Southern Utah and Portland State

2003: 13 tackles and two QB hurries...four tackles against Nicholls State, three vs Texas State, two against Northwestern State and two plus a TFL vs Northern Arizona

High School: all-district, all-parish at Beau Chene as linebacker and defensive end...four letters in football and two in power lifting...125 tackles and 11 sacks during senior season
