John Pichon could be on of the most improved players on the team this season...he has gained weight and he has gotten taller...he is also stronger...plans are to have him displaying his versatility as a No. 3, 4 and 5 performer...he is a very good jumper and rebounder...and he is very quick... Freshman Season (2005-2006): saw very little playing time, competing in nine games...he scored three points and pulled 5 rebounds...played in only one conference game...scored two points against Louisiana College and pulled two rebounds... Pre-McNeese: was a three year letterman at Slidell High where he became on of the school's all-time leaders in both scoring and rebounding and played four of the five positions on the team...the only post he did not play was that of point guard...in his senior season he averaged 19.1 points, 11 rebounds and three steals per game...he also blocked 88 shots that year...twice he was named his team's most valuable player and he was also an all-state, all-metro and all-district selection...his senior year he was named MVP of his district... Personal: birthdate of MAy 9, 1986...parents are John and Juana Pichon...honor roll student in high school...cousin Troy Twilly played football at LSU...majoring in Health and Human Performance. |
