Eric Massey can be a pivotal player for the Cowboys this season as a strong man on the inside. He has the ability to get the job done...has a good shot on the inside as his 75 shooting percentage from last year indicates...

Freshman Season (2005-2006): played in 19 games and scored 22 points for a 1.2 average...also pulled 13 rebounds...made just about everythign he tossed at the goals...made nine of 12 field goals for a 75 percentage ad four of five free throws for an 80 percentage...scored five points and pulled three rebounds in his collegiate debut against Mary Hardin Baylor...scored four points against both LSU and Auburn...also had three rebounds against LSU...

Pre-McNeese: four year letter winner at Manassas High and was also his team's most valuable player his senior season...averaged 22 points and 15 rebounds per game, playing both center and forward...

Personal: birthdate is March 15, 1987...parents are Melvin Massey and Shirly Smith...one brother and two sisters, all younger...Health and Human Performance major
