One of the top collegiate players in the South....expected to be drafted...named to the nation's watch list for outstanding players...pre-season all-conference...goes into season with a career .312 batting average, 20 home runs and 123 RBIs

2006: led the Cowboys in homers with nine and RBIs with 51...second on team with a .338 average...had a slugging percentage of .556 while drawing 35 walks...led team with 110 total bases hit 14 doubles...stole 13 bases....belted grand slam home run against UT Arlington...all-Southland and all-Louisiana..18 multiple hit games and 11 multiple RBI games...two homers vs UTSA...named team's MVP

2005: posted a .270 batting average and belted five home runs and drove in a team high 38 runs...had a .455 slugging percentage....committed only four errors in 112 chances in the field...had 13 multi-hit games...four for six vs UNO....three RBIs in three different games...5 for 8 with 4 RBIs and 3 doubles vs Wichita State...home runs vs Mercer, S. Miss, UNO, Nicholls State (1 in two different games).

2004: led team in batting with .328 average, tops in home runs with six and in RBIs with 34...posted a .532 slugging percentage and had a .438 on base percentage...honorable mention all-SLC...had 16 multi-hit games and had four hits in games against La-Lafayette and Ohio State..drove in a team high six runs against Grambling and hit two home runs in games against Grambling and La-Lafayette...posted a .961 fielding pct.

Pre-McNeese: all-state player at Kinder High where he batted .520 his senior season...led school to four straight district titles...also played quarterback on the football team
