Pre-McNeese: played at Panola Junior College where as a rookie he compiled a 6-3 record and had three saves....did not play in 2005 due to arm problems and underwent Tommy John surgery...prepped at Bridge City High where he was twice named to the all-state team and three times to the all-district team...was named district MVP in 2003
